NEW YORK
Wall Street closed lower Wednesday with losses by major companies and crude oil prices.
The Dow fell 59 points to end the day at 20,591 and the S&P 500 lost eight points to 2,344.
The Nasdaq decreased 30 points to finish trading at 5,836.
At the final bell, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate was at $52.92 — a 0.9 percent decline, while international benchmark Brent crude traded at a 1 percent loss at $55.67.
Shares of Tesla fell 3.9 percent, while Wells Fargo was down 1.9 percent.
