Turkey’s Fenerbahce beat AS Monaco in Champions League
Emenike scores twice in first leg of qualifier

Turkey’s Fenerbahce beat AS Monaco from France 2-1 on Wednesday in the first leg of a qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
Playing at home at the Ulker Stadium in Istanbul, the Fenerbahce was helped by two goals by Emmanuel Emenike in the 39th and 61st minutes.
Monaco’s goal came by way of Radamel Falcao, two minutes after Fenerbahce’s goal in the first half.
The second leg of the match will be played Aug. 3 in France.
