The book, titled Minute By Minute FETO Coup Attempt, gathers all the stories written by the news agency’s correspondents who were following the incidents on the ground as the events unfolded on that fateful night of July 15.

“We have prepared a book to mark history, acknowledging the solidarity of our nation’s courage and foresight -- especially that of our president and our prime minister, political leaders and media -- to not let the coup attempt happen again,” said Anadolu Agency chairman and director general Senol Kazanci.

It also covers events from July 15 to 20, and includes features, iconographies detailing the incidents, along with striking photos taken by agency staff.

The book, which aims to mark “the historical resistance against the coup bid”, is a chronological record of incidents from across the country during the thwarted coup attempt, from start to finish. It will be published in Turkish and in English.

The copies of the book published by Anadolu Agency will be distributed free of charge to the Turkish public.
