N. African media delegation visits Anadolu Agency

ANKARA

A delegation representing media in North African states visited Anadolu Agency’s headquarters in the capital Ankara on Monday.

The visit was part of a program jointly prepared by Turkey’s Directorate General of Press and Information (DGPI) and the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA).

The program aims to develop cooperation among media organs and exchange views on Turkey’s foreign policy issues with various institutions and organizations.

The delegation was welcomed by Anadolu Agency’s International News Editor-in-Chief Faruk Tokat at the Editors’ Desk.

Tokat also responded to the questions of the delegation after briefing the delegation about Anadolu Agency’s principles of journalism, its future projects and the agency’s international operations.

The delegation took special interested in the internationally recognized "War Journalism Certificate Program".

Emphasizing his pleasure over the delegation’s visit, Tokat stated that he is closely following the developments in the region and that the agency has a strong team in North Africa, especially in Tunisia.
