Economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency on Monday about the upcoming Monetary Policy Committee meeting on Thursday said they did not expect any changes in Turkey's interest rates.

A total of 20 economists participated in the market expectation survey on the meeting that the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey is expected to hold this Thursday.

All economists surveyed said they did not expect any change in the one-week repo rate -- also known as the bank's policy rate, the overnight borrowing rate, the marginal funding rate and late liquidity window interest rate.

The Central Bank kept the policy rate at 8 percent, the overnight borrowing and the marginal funding rates at 7.25 percent and 9.25 percent, respectively, and the late liquidity window interest rate at 12.25 percent, at the MPC meeting in September.
