ISTANBUL (AA) - August 8, 2012 - Turkish businessmen and accompanying delegations will travel several European countries at presidential and ministerial-level to seek new markets after slowdown in economy due to summer season.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul will visit Sweden with a number of Turkish businessmen on September 9-12.
Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan will also travel to Luxembourg on September 13-14 with Turkish businessmen. Caglayan will be in Austria with an accompanying delegation on 18-19 September to seek new markets.
CEO of Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board, Rona Yircali, told AA correspondent on Wednesday that these business enterprises would positively affect Turkish economy.
"The rate of Turkey's services exports to these countries would increase 25 percent, and merchandise exportation rate also would rise 15 percent with the help of these business trips. President Abdullah Gul's and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's trips are very important at this point. Not only they are selling goods there, they are also making business connections," said Yircali.
