Three students were injured, two of them seriously after a driver “deliberately” crashed into a crowd on Friday afternoon in front of a school near Toulouse in southwestern France, according to a public prosecutor.
The incident took place outside the Saint-Exupery high school in Blagnac, Haute-Garonne, Toulouse prosecutor Pierre-Yves Couilleau told French broadcaster BFMTV.
Police arrested the 28-year-old driver, who was known to police for committing minor offences, BFM TV reported, quoting police.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
