French police are hunting two suspects who robbed a luxury watch store in Paris on Tuesday, making off with goods thought to be worth between €800,000 to €900,000 ($872,000-$980,000).

The thieves looted the goods from a store on the Champs Elysee in the heart of the capital, according to French broadcaster BFMTV.

BFMTV aired a video showing one suspect in a grey suit rushing out of the shop with bags in his hand before joining his accomplice and fleeing on a motorcycle.

The robbery took place at around 11.10 a.m. local time (0910 GMT) when one suspect walked in, claiming to be a client before flashing a gun, BFMTV reported.

During the last few years, the French capital has seen similar robberies targeting luxury shops as well as high-profile personalities such as members of the Saudi royal family and, more recently, American superstar Kim Kardashian.
