The deputy chief of Palestinian group Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri, met Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in the capital Tehran on Sunday.

Talks between the two sides tackled the Palestinian problem and a host of regional issues of mutual concern, the Iranian parliament news agency reported.

A high-level Hamas delegation arrived in Iran on Friday for talks with Iranian officials

Longtime allies, Hamas and Tehran recently reconciled following a years-long falling-out over the Syria conflict, in which they supported opposing sides.
