Twelve teams are already through to the next round of football’s Champions League, leaving seven sides to fight over the remaining four places.

Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Roma, Chelsea, Manchester United, Basel, Besiktas, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have qualified.

The remaining clubs with a chance of proceeding to the round of 16 teams on Wednesday night are RB Leipzig, Liverpool, Napoli, Porto, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk and Spartak Moscow.

Besiktas have secured top spot in Group G and could become the first Turkish club to emerge undefeated from the group stages if they avoid defeat in Leipzig.

The German side and Porto are currently tied on 7 points but the Portuguese have a superior head-to-head record. Porto face Monaco, who have already been eliminated, at home.

In Group E, Liverpool can qualify with a draw and come top of the group by beating Spartak Moscow in England.

The first-place teams in each group will face the runners-up from another group, supposedly providing an easier route to the quarter-finals.

Moscow will have to beat Liverpool at Anfield to secure qualification. Failure to do so will see them dropped to the latter stages of the Europa League.

Sevilla need just a draw against Maribor to qualify and will top Group E if they win and Liverpool draw or lose.

In Group F, Manchester City are already through as group winners and face Shakhtar Donetsk, who will go forward if they avoid defeat in Ukraine.

If Shakhtar lose, they must rely on Napoli drawing or losing against Feyenoord.

In the event of a City win, Napoli will go through with a win, which would put them on the same points as Shakhtar but with better head-to-head results.

Tottenham have qualified as the winners of Group H while Real Madrid are through in second place.
