Buildings used by PYD/PKK terrorists in northern Syria that were bombed by the Turkish Air Force on Sunday were visited by Anadolu Agency.

Video footage shot by an Anadolu Agency correspondent in Al-Amarna, to the south of Jarabulus, shows buildings flattened and vehicles pulverized in the raids.

Amid the ruins, at least two bodies were found as well as documents, journals and flags bearing the badge of the YPG, the armed wing of the PYD/PKK terror group, and firearms.

Identity cards belonging to two female terrorists that identified them as Turkish nationals were also found.

Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters posed for photographs and celebrated following the attacks.

In a statement, the Turkish Armed Forces said 25 PYD/PKK terrorists had been killed and five buildings destroyed.

The military said the air campaign was carried out against terrorists that had attacked Turkish soldiers supporting the FSA operation in Jarabulus, adding that it was showing the “utmost sensitivity” and taking “all necessary measures” to prevent civilian casualties.

Operation Euphrates Shield, which started on Wednesday, is aimed at improving border security, supporting coalition forces and eliminating the threat posed by terror organizations.

Ahmet Genco, commander of the FSA’s Nurettin Zengi group, told Anadolu Agency on Sunday that Syrian opposition forces had taken control of Al-Amarna and rockets, grenades, sniper rifles, mortar shells and a large amount of ammunition was seized.

Genco said the PYD/PKK had tried to use civilians as human shields.
