The file regarding the extradition of accused Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) ringleader Fetullah Gulen from the U.S. to Turkey has been completed, Justice Minister Abduhamit Gul said on Sunday.

"The file for Gulen's extradiction is completed," Gul said, responding to journalists' questions at the Turkish parliament for the opening of the third legislative session.

"All processes have been completed according to international contracts and extradition contracts, there are no shortcomings in technical terms or documents for the extradition,” he added.

Gul stated that the process was suffering from no deficiencies.

Ankara has sought Gulen's extradition in relation to the failed July 15, 2016 putsch that left 250 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured as rogue military units led by alleged FETO officers attempted to seize power.

Turkey accuses Gulen of masterminding the bloody coup attempt.

He has lived in the U.S. since 1999.
