ISTANBUL

A Turkey-based aid agency has supplied relief goods to 500 flood-hit victims in Albania, it said on Tuesday.

Over 3,500 homes have become unusable and hundreds of people have been hurt by the extreme rains in the beginning of December in Albania, Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) said in a statement.

In the first stage, the agency has distributed blankets, food packages, refrigerators and heaters to the victims, the statement read.

Turkey and its aid agencies, in solidarity with Albania, are ready to provide any kind of assistance, it concluded.
