The Chairman of the Executive Board and Director General of the Anadolu Agency (AA) Kemal Ozturk on Wednesday said that the introduction of Turkish language as an elective course in Tunisian schools was an important development.
Ozturk visited the Tunisian Minister of Information Technology and Communications Mongi Marzouk in his office in Tunis on Wednesday.
Ozturk provided information on the AA's centennial vision, upcoming projects and goals to Minister Marzouk.
The AA will publish news in your language (Arabic), Ozturk told Marzouk.
Marzouk, in his part, said that Turkey's democratic experiences were important for them as a Muslim country.
Kemal Ozturk is visiting Tunisia to introduce the AA's Arabic edition services.
The AA has opened an office in Tunis.
Earlier in the day, Kemal Ozturk met with leading journalists of Tunisia over breakfast.
