Davutoglu visits the journalist who was wounded at US Embassy blast

ANKARA

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday visited Didem Tuncay, the Turkish journalist who was wounded at the US Embassy blast in Ankara.

The respected journalist Tuncay was seriously wounded in suicide bombing at the US Embassy in Ankara on February 1 and she underwent an operation from her eye on February 8.
Referring to Tuncay's eye surgery, Davutoglu said, "There are serious improvements in her right eye. Hopefully, she will recover both aesthetically and functionally."
Davutoglu was informed about the diplomatic correspondent's condition from her doctors in the Turkish capital Ankara.
Terrorist DHKP-C organization claimed the suicide bomb attack on February 1 at US Embassy which killed the suicide bomber and a security guard and wounded Tuncay.
