Erdogan: Terror, sooner or later, is bound to lose

ANKARA (AA) - August 5, 2012 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday sent a message of condolence to the Chief of Turkish General Staff, General Necdet Ozel after 6 troops and 2 village guards were killed late Saturday in a clash with PKK terrorists in the south-eastern province of Hakkari.

In his message, Erdogan emphasized that terror, sooner or later, was bound to lose and melt against the determination of the nation.
"By staging a terror act perfidiously in the holy month of Ramadan, the terror organization has once again shown their enmity to the national and spiritual values of the dear nation and our country. Terror, sooner or later, is bound to lose and disappear," Erdogan said.
"I wish God's mercy to our security forces killed and wish speedy recovery to our wounded troops and civilians," Erdogan also said.
6 Turkish troops and 2 village guards were killed late on Saturday in a clash with PKK terrorists in Hakkari. The clash took place after the terrorists attacked several base regions and a military outpost.
14 terrorists were killed in the clashes.
15 troops, 1 village guard and 5 civilians were injured in the clashes.
