Turkish deputy parliament speaker receives Tajik lawmakers

ANKARA

Turkey's deputy parliament speaker received on Tuesday Tajik parliamentarians in Ankara.

During the meeting, Sadik Yakut said that Turks and Tajik people had many common values, and they should also have close economic and commercial relations.
Yakut said Turkey would continue to extend assistance to Tajikistan.
Mahmudavi Vatanov, the head of Tajik-Turkish Friendship Group, said that there were six Turkish colleges and more than 50 Turkish companies in his countrky.
Tajik lawmakers met Mustafa Kabakci, the chairman of Turkish-Tajik Parliamentary Friendship Group, on Monday.
