General staff reports cross-border artillery, air strikes on Daesh, PKK

Turkish artillery strikes have destroyed Daesh targets in northern Syria, the military said Monday.
In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said 58 positions in Aleppo province were hit Sunday, resulting in the deaths of at least 28 Daesh terrorists. Two bomb-laden vehicles were also destroyed.
Separately, the Turkish air force targeted five terrorist organization PKK positions in northern Iraq’s Metina region overnight on Sunday.
