Palestinian Legislative Council Chairman Aziz Duwaik said on Tuesday that the joy of Syrian people during the Ramadan Feast, Eid el-Fitr, would double after toppling al-Assad regime in Syria.

Duwaik who was freed last Thursday following a 6-month imprisonment in Israel, talked to Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent in Ramallah.
Duwaik stated that there was an improvement on Palestine peace after Mohammed Mursi was elected the Egyptian president.
"Egypt took a task on mediation between Palestinian sides and Cairo treating equally all sides. That is what should be occurred. They are not forcing us to accept an agreement that approved by them, like former government did in the past," said Duwaik.
Duwaik also welcomed Egypt's decision to open border gates for Palestinians.
Defining achievement of revolutions in the Middle East as Palestine's achievement, "As representing Palestinian Legislative Council, I repeat once again that we want Arab public's will. The end of Syrian regime is very close with the help of God. Syrian people will get rid of al-Assad soon and Syrian people's joy will double during the Eid el-Fitr," said Duwaik.
Duwaik also said that he was praying during nights on the occasion of holy Ramadan for Syrian people to get rid of Bashar al-Assad.
Commenting on Turkey's stance on the Middle East, "Turkey is going on the right direction. We are also praying for Turkey's success," said Duwaik.
