Macedonian president extends support to PM Erdogan

OHRID (AA) - President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov said that Macedonia was with Turkish PM Erdogan regarding Gezi Park protests. 

Ivanov received the Chairman of Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Serdar Cam on Thursday.

Ivanov stressed that they were closely following the Gezi Park oriented process, saying, "PM Erdogan should not feel sorry, but should resist. Regarding Gezi Park protests, some countries made political games which is known by everyone." 

-"We are pleased with TIKA projects in Macedonia"- 

Ivanov said that they were pleased with TIKA projects in Macedonia, adding, "I asked Mr. Cam to have TIKA design a project which bears the name of Turkey's former Prime Minister Ali Fethi Okyar." 

Ali Fethi Okyar, who was born in Prilep in Macedonia on 29 April, 1880, was the second prime minister of Turkey (1924-25) and the second Speaker of the Turkish Parliament after Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
