Journalist Mohamed Khabeisa released after being held by Palestinian security forces in West Bank, according to wife

RAMALLAH, Palestine
Palestinian security forces on Tuesday released freelance journalist Mohamed Abdullah Khabeisa after taking him from his home in the Israeli-occupied West Bank town of Al-Bireh late last night, according to the journalist’s wife.
Hanaa Khalaf told Anadolu Agency that her husband had been released early Tuesday afternoon.
According to Khalaf, Palestinian security forces took Khabeisa from his home in the early hours of Tuesday.
They also confiscated laptops and documents found in the home, she added.
A Palestinian journalist based in the Israeli-occupied West Bank near Ramallah, Khabeisa works for Anadolu Agency on a freelance basis.
