Israeli troops shot a Palestinian man dead on Thursday in the Israeli city of Netanya after the latter allegedly tried to stab two Israelis, according to Israeli police.
In a statement, police said one Israeli had been seriously wounded and another had sustained moderate injuries after having been stabbed by the attacker.
The alleged Palestinian assailant, police added, had been shot at the scene and died instantly.
Early the same day, another Palestinian was shot dead following an alleged attack in the Kiryat Arba settlement near the West Bank city of Hebron.
According to the Israeli army, the alleged attack left a 13-year-old Israeli girl dead.
According to Palestinian figures, more than 220 Palestinians have been killed in an ongoing uptick in Israeli-Palestinian violence that began last October.
The Israeli authorities, for their part, say 39 Israelis have been killed over the same period.
