Six people were killed and 25 others injured on Friday after Assad regime warplanes struck Eastern Ghouta district in Rif Dimashq province east of Damascus, a Syrian Civil Defense source told Anadolu Agency.

The source said the regime launched air raids on residential areas in the towns of Hamoryah, Saqba and Douma.

The injured were taken to field hospital in the area, the source said, adding that the attacks destroyed a large number of homes.
