LONDON
Four people have been killed in a mid-air collision between a light aircraft and a helicopter in Buckinghamshire, England, British police said Friday evening.
The accident near Waddesdon village in Aylesbury occurred shortly after noon local time, according to Thames Valley Police.
The deadly air accident is under investigation by police and air accident investigators, Superintendent Rebecca Mears told a media briefing.
There were two people aboard the helicopter, and another two in the two-seater plane.
Both aircraft had come from nearby Wycombe Air Park, a spokesman from the park confirmed earlier on Friday.
The identities of the victims would not be revealed at this moment as police were looking for next of kins to inform them first, Mears said.
