Mehmet Ayerden has been appointed as the new Director General of Turkish Electricity Trade and Contracting Corporation known as TETAS, Turkey's official gazette announced Friday.
Ayerden was acting as the deputy general manager of the corporation. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz approved the appointment decision.
TETAS was listed as the third biggest company in Turkey in 2014 taking into account its net sales which equaled 2.1 billion Turkish liras per month.
