The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,218.07 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 0.7% to around 1.95 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,958.89 liras and 2,975.67 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,999.69 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,275 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 37.91 liras at 2.34 p.m. local time (1134 GMT) on Thursday.
