The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0500-0600 and between 1500- 1900 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1.379,89 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 3.23% to around 1.72 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,778.72 liras and 2,785.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,379.89 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.32 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
