The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400 - 0600 and 1400 -1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,799.98 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900, 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows an increase of 2.2% to 1.87 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,672.79 liras and 2,674.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500 and between 1400 -1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,425 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
