Spot market electricity prices for Friday, July 12

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.88 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m, 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (2100 GMT on Thursday, and 1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,000.01 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.96% to around 1.88 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,745.37 liras and 2,758.29 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 2 p.m and 10 p.m. (1100-1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was 2,198.38 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.86 liras at 2.55 p.m. local time (1155 GMT) on Thursday.
