The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,666.34 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,684.97 liras at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. local time (0300 and 0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 0.34% to around 1.64 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,354.53 liras and 2,367.35 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400–1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,966.97 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.24 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Thursday.
