The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (1500, 1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,594.98 at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday electricity market shows an increase of 8.4% to around 1.65 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,540.73 liras and 2,553.43 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Thursday was set as 2,949.99 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1700, 1800 GMT), and the lowest was set as 1,619 at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Thursday.
