The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,850 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,025 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 15.3% to around 1.39 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,242.56 liras and 2,244.59 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Thursday was set as 3,000 liras at 8 a.m. and between 6 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1500-1800 GMT), and the lowest was set as 1,650.01 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.01 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Thursday.
