The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,750 Turkish liras at 20.00 and 21.00 local time (1700 -1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is determined as 805 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), the figures show.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 67.8% to 997.8 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,786.36 liras and 1,829.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,449.99 liras at 21.00 local time (1800 GMT), with the lowest rate determined as 75 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.
US$1 equals 15.97 liras at 1116 GMT on Thursday.
