The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,498.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 7.5% to around 1.44 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,253.90 liras and 2,261.56 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 liras at 1 a.m., 8 a.m. 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time (2200 GMT on Wednesday, 0500, 0600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,931.18 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.2 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
