The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,600 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,249 liras between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 6.6% to around 935.8 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,940.93 liras and 1,944.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,600 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,527 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.93 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Thursday.
