The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. (0400 - 0700 GMT) and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,483.99 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.6% to 1.28 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,207.29 liras and 2,223.96 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,594.97 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 28.69 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
