The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 219.44 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest will be 143.01 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday's electricity market decreased by 2.2 percent to 72.77 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 192.42 liras and 196.25 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 220 liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest was 138.98 liras at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.95 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
