The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500 - 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,849.97 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 - 1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.15% to around 1.71 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,548.87 liras and 2,549.07 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1400 - 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,856.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.96 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Thursday.
