The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 2.6% to around 1.77 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,599.25 liras and 2,623.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,950.01 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,997.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.00 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
