The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,851.29 liras at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. local time (0200 - 0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 51.6% to around 1.7 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,494.01 liras and 2,527.77 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate at 230.91 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.49 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Sunday.
