Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Dec. 30

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.58 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0600, 0700, 1100-1400 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate is set at 1,424.09 liras between 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 39.6% to around 1.58 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,456.97 liras and 2,538.69 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,000 liras between 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 35.14 liras at 2.09 p.m. local time (1109 GMT) on Sunday.
