Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.72 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500,1400-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate is set at 1,874.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows increase of 29.2 % to 1.72 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,515.24 liras and 2,535.35 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1500 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 750,00 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 35.68 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
