Spot market electricity prices for Monday, July 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 2.01 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m., 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100-2300 GMT, 0500-0800 GMT, 1000-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,450.01 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 24.2% to around 2.01 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,959.17 liras and 2,962.85 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 2 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100 GMT and 1500 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 33.03 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
