The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 500 Turkish liras at 20.00 and 21.00 local time and the lowest will be 289.21 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 24.43% to 236.31 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 419.78 liras and 424.03 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Sunday was set as 439 liras at 21.00 local time and the lowest at 289.99 liras at 06.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.74 Turkish liras at 1102 GMT on Sunday.
