Spot market electricity prices for Monday, March 31

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 897 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Sunday.

The lowest rate is set at 250 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 9.3% to around 897 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,840.25 liras and 1,840.04 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Sunday was set as 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), and the lowest was set as 170 liras between 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).

US$1 equals 37.97 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Sunday.
