Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Oct. 14

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.55 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,999.98 at 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0100 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows a decrease of 31.6% to around 1.55 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,576.22 liras and 2,602.05 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 300.01 at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.31 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
