Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, August 8

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 176.34 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 313.64 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time and the lowest will be 278.37 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on the electricity market on Friday showed a decrease of 6.8% to 176.34 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 307.46 liras and 308.027 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Friday was set as 350 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 270 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.18 Turkish liras at 1202 GMT on Friday.
