The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1400, 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,978.06 liras at 1 a.m. local time (2200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.2% to around 1.51 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,524.09 liras and 2,546.05 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500, 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.95 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Friday.
