Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Nov. 16

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.33 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,732.98 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 17.15% to around 1.33 billion liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,351.37 liras and 2,372,50 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 1200 and 13000 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,194 liras at 12 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.43 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Friday.
