Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Oct. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 10.21 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 718 Turkish liras at 18.00 and 19.00 local times (1500 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest will be 458.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 18.68% to 10.21 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 583.69 liras and 584.14 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 666.65 Turkish liras at 21.00 local times (1700 GMT), while the lowest 436.49 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).

US$1 equals 8.84 Turkish liras at 1147 GMT on Friday.
